Some of our therapists provide counseling in both Interface Psych Services, and Elders Counseling Group. Meet them below:

Dr. David Worth Harman, Ph.D-an experienced Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Harman is new Interface/Elders but has over 25+ years of experience servicing patients both in an outpatient capacity in his Malvern office, and in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, and Personal Care Facilities in the West Chester area. He has worked as a teacher and supervisor for a number of years. His areas of expertise include psychological evaluations, dementia assessments, diagnosis and treatment of depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, relationship issues, grief, family dynamic relationships, a wide array of mood and personality disorders. His approach is holistic, cognitive behavioral, and trauma focused. He has a strong background in biopsychology and psychopharmacology.

Gary Kozick,LCSW-has worked for both Interface/Elders for 7 years. As a licensed clinical social worker, Gary is an accomplished psychotherapist with expertise in geriatrics, loss and bereavement, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and stress management. He also provides adult and adolescent psychotherapy, behavioral health services, couples and family therapy. Specialties include behavioral health practice related to diabetes, self-care management, eating disorders, and mood disorders. He is a member of the Behavioral Health Advisory Board, Member of A.D.A Advisory Board, and the National Association of Social Work

George Schuler, LCSW-has worked for Elders for 14 years. He provides counseling psychotherapy to the geriatric population in Assisted Living Facilities, and Personal Care Homes. He meets weekly (or more if needed) to integrate some of the new residents into their new environment as well as residents that are just having emotional issues about grief, loss, change in their condition, loneliness, and several other issues that present themselves. George specializes in bereavement, adjustment disorders, dementia assessments, depression, anxiety, and coping skills.

Dr. Melody Wood-Schultz, Ph.D, LCSW-Specialties include adjustment DO, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, PTSD, suicide prevention, stress management, anger management, and work place stress (EAP). She utilizes a variety of approaches including cognitive therapy, solution focused therapy, resolution therapy, holistic therapy, hope and motivational training, psychodynamic, spiritual support, projective testing and group therapy. She specializes in working with adults, and the aging population, providing supportive psychotherapy to individuals with dementia and its related symptoms. She also has many years of experience working with, domestic violence survivors and abusers, veterans, the court system, probation/parole and law enforcement. Certifications in: Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Disaster Mental Health & First Responder Training, Debriefing & Crises Management, Certified Forensic Counselor, Certified Trainer in Methods of Instruction (trained to teach law enforcement about mental illness), and Certified Internship Supervisor for Social Work (BSW/MSW). Research Dissertation: Suicide Prevention Responses.

Sharon Wormly, LPC- (Interface) Licensed Professional Counselor. She has numerous areas of specialization which include: Family therapy, depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship issues. She is an Employee Assistance Clinician who works with clients to provide solution based treatment for impaired employees suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. She works with couples & families to assist in developing healthy and happy functioning and relationships.

Kathleen Rooney, M.Ed., N.C.C., L.P.C. -(Interface) a Licensed Professional Counselor(L.P.C.) by the PA Bureau of Social Workers, Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors, a National Certified Counselor, a K-12 Certified Guidance Counselor. She is a counselor specializing in forensic and incarceration issues, addiction, mindfulness-based stress reduction, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, behavior management, grief. She provides counseling services, including diagnosis, treatment and referrals to psychiatrists, crisis evaluation and intervention, mental health services to acutely psychotic and/or suicidal, brief therapy, treating addiction, adjustment disorder, anxiety, and depression to the population of ages 16 to 80, including instruction in coping skills, stress reduction.

Dr. Joan Wolpert LPC- a Licensed Professional Counselor that provides interventions with anger management, communication & parenting skills. She provides individual and family therapy, with children, adolescents and their parents/families. She specializes in Developmental disabilites, such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and Dyspraxia. She also specializes in adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, such as selective mutism, agoraphobia, ADHA, Depression, and attachement issues, and much more. She is a Board Certified Dance Movement and Registered Play Therapist. She is a member of the Association for Play Therapy, and the American Association for Dance Therapy.

Dr. Jared B. Moore, PsyD –(Interface) a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Pennsylvania. He has been working with adolescents and adults in the mental health field for the past fourteen years. Dr. Moore has served individuals across a wide range of socio-economic, racial, cultural, and professional backgrounds. He has worked in residential, outpatient, and inpatient settings and helped treat people with anxiety, depression, substance abuse problems, and major mental illness. Dr. Moore has assumed supervisory roles of pre-doctoral interns who are in the process of completing their graduate training. His areas of specialization include, but are not limited to, psychological assessment, long and short term psychotherapy, and the treatment of depression, anxiety, and major mental illness. Dr. Moore treats individuals from an integrative approach but relies heavily on psychodynamic principles and implements cognitive and behavioral techniques if appropriate.
